Hostages Suffering, KGB Says in Beirut Report

London report says the KGB told the CEA that some foreign hostages in Lebanon, isolated and chained, are deteriorating physically after being injected by an Iranian doctor to aid interrogation. Gordon Thomas cites CIA and Israeli sources about high level talks in Washington and claims Dr. Ibrahim al Nahir controls the captives with drugs. Anglican envoy Terry Waite is among those named. Waite’s whereabouts in Beirut remain as reported.
