Yemen probes Harazi role in Cole bombing and timing
Yemeni officials identify Muhammad Omar al Harazi as the alleged mastermind behind the Cole attack. He is linked to funding safe houses and training the two men who rammed the destroyer, killing 17 U S sailors. Officials trace Harazi’s movements across Aden, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia with earlier plots possibly dating back three years.
