Mechanics Pledge To Avoid Strike At Boeing Plant
Seattle December 11 A Boeing Aircraft Company plant mechanic union spokesman said today mechanics will honor no strike pledge if the War Labor Board denies their wage increase request. The contract expired months ago and wage scales cited include 63 1/6 cents for beginners 18 attendance in shops. The board shelved the wage demand prompting a temporary shout of strike but the demonstration was short lived.
