Unseasonably warm weather ends tonight as temperatures fall into the 30s. Light rain arrives late tonight, then turns to wet snow this evening and tomorrow. Highs near 40 with a cool, cloudy Wednesday and sunny Thursday. Planets and moon data listed with rise and set times.
The Southwest stayed cool as a winter storm brought rare snow to Phoenix and an inch to Las Vegas. A cold front moved into the Northeast with highs near 70 in New York Boston and Philadelphia. Cascades and northern Idaho faced winter storm warnings while the Plains stayed dry with light snow possible in the panhandles.
