Guard Unit Learns Use of Bazooka
The orientation and training in basic weapons are part of a three year program for the New York National Guard infantry. Sgt Frank Jennings teaches fundamentals while units practice with bazookas and 22 caliber rifles. A summer range at Syracuse adapts for safety and more training. Plans aim to increase weapon availability to attract new enlistees under the new recruiting campaign.
