In Minneapolis on December 6 a four teen year old boy George Lanhart resisted tonsil surgery. After donning a night shirt he ran from the hospital bed and dodged an orderly for nearly a block before being captured. His mother then took him home with his father vowing another trip to the hospital for the procedure.
Columbus resident Mrs. P Barnecut recounts parking her car downtown and locking the doors as part of an incident reported by United Press. The brief item notes her assertion that the event truly occurred in the city.
