Ornamental Christmas Dells Draw Bespoke Orders in Wampsville
Betsy Burton of Green Thumb in Wampsville runs a shop famed for natural, hand made Christmas greens and ornaments. Since opening in 1976 the business fills year ahead orders for trees, greens, fruit baskets and unique decorations. Workers prepare items overnight to meet holiday demand and stress quality over artificial materials. Prices for trees are steady, greens rise yearly due to material and labor costs. Burton sources decorations from various places and emphasizes handcrafted techniques and unusual offerings.
