Syracuse Herald Journal reports Dan Leonard WOR news director was summoned before a grand jury over comments on a recent broadcast. Leonard said sources were anonymous and that 285 police reports may have been cited. Cantor suggested possible contempt charges if sources were divulged.

Vets to Hear Capt. Tunno at county veterans dinner
Capt. David A Tunno of Pen Air Base was the principal speaker for the annual dinner of the Gwon Dara County Veterans Corner Saturday at the American Legion Hall. He held rank of BD general and spoke about his service in Lakes Work War II and 661 Capt. Tunno combat hours. He participated in the first metal raid on Europe in 1942 and later joined on a raid over Plossii of field in Romania. He received the Distinguished Flying Cross, Oak Leaf Clusters, Purple Heart, Bronze Stars, and Unit Citations for his service.
