Relocation firms aid employees in housing costs in 1981 survey
Merrill Lynch's relocation study shows 96 percent of firms helped with housing disposal or lease settling for transferred employees and 14 percent offered no home purchase reimbursements. The average relocation cost ranged from 25 550 to 37 250 depending on company size with 71 percent facing former home disposal problems due to weak markets and high interest rates.
