Partly cloudy tonight with tranquil conditions. Saturday brings a mix of clouds and sun and a warm afternoon. Sunday and Monday trend cooler with more clouds and a good chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms were forecast across much of the United States including the Northeast Southeast West and northern Plains. An area of low pressure and a cold front were expected to trigger more storms from northern Maine to New Hampshire eastern New York eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In the Southeast storms were anticipated with another front in the midsection likely to bring storms from northern Texas to the Dakotas. The heaviest activity was seen from central Kansas to southern Nebraska with additional storms in the upper Midwest northern Plains and parts of the West.
Onal Lakes show southwest winds near gusty with 2 to 4 foot waves. Ontario and Finger Lakes report gusty west-southwest winds and higher waves. readings are incomplete with several garbled numbers. Overall conditions expect choppy waters and gusty winds across listed areas.
