LaPorte Circuit Judge Gett inger used a little known law to seize potential jurors from the courthouse square for an obscenity case against Ronald Sappenfield. Deputies summoned about 10 prospects as they crossed the downtown block near LaPorte County’s courthouse to form a 12 member jury.
