Three felons back, one at large in Benton area

Two of four fugitives from Menard State Prison surrendered early today at the urging of one convict’s sister. A convict named a brother was captured in Alabama. Millard Carlile, 35, of Benton, and Clarence Newberry, 31, of Osceola, gave themselves up at the Franklin County Jail.
