Polo for Opera benefits Syracuse Opera in Skaneateles
Skaneateles held the Polo for Opera charity match on the Cowleys’ lakefront field to support Syracuse Opera. Guests including Margaret Chase and family gathered under a blue and white tent for silent auctions, gourmet food, and champagne as Polo players from the Dominican Republic and Argentina competed amid opera officials and patrons. A Symphony Guild concert followed at Allyn Arena with the Skaneateles Symphony performing American classics to conclude a Labor Day weekend of culture.
