Lifeboats fail as ship breaks up in Bertha storm
Six crew members drown when the freighter Corazon splits off Cape Cod amid 90 mph winds and 30 foot seas. Twenty one others are rescued by passing ships as the Coast Guard investigates unserviceable lifeboats and the sinking vessel carrying 25 000 tons of cement from Greece to New York.
