Scattered Showers and Sunshine Across New England and Plains
Scattered showers moved into New England and the eastern Great Lakes while much of the midwest and south faced sunny skies. A line of rain stretched from Lake Erie into Western New York with lingering showers in New England and the northern Mid-Atlantic, as the Mississippi River rose in Davenport and flood warnings persisted for Minnesota and nearby states.
