Syracuse man charged with attempted murder in West Ostrander shooting
Torrence Jackson, 23, of 2117 S Salina St, was charged with attempted murder after a Wednesday drive by shooting on West Ostrander Ave. A second suspect remains at large as police pursue leads. Jackson was arrested after a chase and struggle with officers. a loaded 38 caliber handgun was recovered. He faces additional counts of felony criminal use of a firearm and criminal possession of a weapon and is held without bail ahead of a City Court arraignment.
