Carmen Gennao, 22, fainted on a Brooklyn platform and fell into a 1-foot trough as a subway car approached. She crawled out from under the train with dirt on her, saying she and her baby were fine after the incident. Police and bystanders aided her recovery before an ambulance arrived.
The federal government may pay 26 million to the Nixon estate for White House papers and records. An agreement could end a two-decade dispute, with the Nixon Library at Yorba Linda receiving control and all seized materials moving to California from the College Park National Archives annex.
