Central New York forecast through Tuesday shows clearing skies and improving sunshine. Early tonight temperatures fall toward the lower 30s with a light breeze and chilly wind chills. Wednesday brings more sun and milder highs near the mid 60s with a pleasant stretch expected later in the week.
The Associated Press reports cloudy skies and rain across the Plains and Northeast with gusty winds and chilly temperatures. Snow showers were forecast for parts of the Northeast as a cold front moved in.
An extended forecast covers northern New England with light accumulations under 3 inches and varied skies across the Mid-Atlantic, Deep South, Florida, Ohio Valley, and Great Lakes. Afternoon storms may intensify in the Tennessee and Lower Mississippi valleys with winds up to 60 mph and hail, while the Great Plains expect clouds and rain showers from Arkansas to Missouri and eastern Oklahoma.
