Amazing Speed of Govt Department in Sunshine Court
In Sunshine Court a man charged with carrying goals from Adelaide to Melbourne without a permit claimed he sent a telegram from Nhill to the Transport Board for permission. The telegram dated the same day as interception showed the request lodged before the Post Office opened. John Stewart Schneider of Nhill was fined £20 after police testified he had previously directed a telegram while en route.
