James Roby Todd of 320 Drummond Street Briton pleaded guilty to carrying passengers in a goods vehicle without a licence at Braybrook. Witnesses from the Transport Board testified to a 30 adults and 11 children on board. Todd was fined £5 after admitting the offence.

Foundation Stone to be Laid for New Outpatients Centre
The ceremony for laying the foundation stone of the Foo and District Outpatients and Welfare Centre is set for Saturday April 9. Dr W J Pridham will unveil the stone after the main ceremony.
