Sunshine court fines for cattle near dwelling and nuisance
Mrs Jane McKenzie of Servante Street Sunshine pleaded guilty in the Sunshine petty sessions to keeping cattle within 100 feet of a dwelling and creating a nuisance. Inspectors reported 17 cows eight calves and manure covering the rear block, with the defense citing local boys damaging fences. A fine of £1 in each instance was imposed and the case was dismissed after a warning to provide a home for the defendant.
