Geoffrey Francis Napier of Hampshire Road faced obstruction charges at Sunshine Court for allegedly warning men at a two up game at Crittall's factory rear. A record number of entries are received for the fifteenth annual Keilor gift to be held at Keilor sports oval tomorrow Saturday February 15. There will be 175 starters including West TG in the 75 yards sprint and Ye in the half mile. The track is in good condition and a regular bus service will run from Fessenden railway station from noon, returning as needed.
Janek Chappell was arraigned for using threatening words after an incident when Constable Power questioned two youths about a stolen bicycle in Devonshire. He admitted being drunk and excited, swung a punch, and was ordered to pay a fine or serve days with leniency granted.
