Fracas Leads to Trespass Charge in Sunshine Court
Harold Edward Thornton of 53 King Edward Ave and Alfred Leo Gleeson of 12 Drummartin St Sunshine clashed in a driveway on February 1. Gleeson testified Thornton fought after being told to leave. Thornton denied provocation. Magistrate Hammond fined Thornton £1 with costs £2 7s for trespass.

Offense Charged for Drunken and Offensive Conduct
Leo Griffiths faced Sunshine Court for offensive behavior and being drunk and disorderly. The incidents occurred on the 8th in the car park opposite the Shire Hall and at Sunshine Station last Monday. He admitted prior drunkenness convictions, was discharged on that count, but fined £2 for offensive behavior with 14 days to pay.

Obituary of Mr. R. H. Guy of Footscray
Mr. R. H. Guy aged 64 of 262 Gordon Street Footscray died Wednesday. He served as a former president of the Sunshine M U L C O F Cricket Club and was deeply involved with its members. His four sons Ralph Charlie Bill and Ray played for the club and he is survived by his brother Fred Guy. The funeral was at Footscray Cemetery with Nelson Bros. funeral directors.
