Councils honor late W T B McCormack chairman of roads
Keilor and Braybrookshire councils paid tribute to Major W T B McCormack late chairman of the Country Roads Board with silent resolutions of regret and appreciation for his services to the municipality and the State in road building. They recorded sympathy for his widow and family and noted his Empire service in war. A by law restricting parking near Sunshine town hall post office and White City and Maribyrnong was confirmed. Gelwyn Park committee asked for a deputation on a proposed cinder track, granted. Dr Garde noted Victoria has only one cinder track and demand is rising.

A special council meeting Monday will review town hall additions and alterations and inspect private street construction accounts. A new 6 inch water main on Ballarat and Station Roads provides a dual line, but tapping is delayed due to pressure variation per the Metropolitan Board.
