A letter from the St Albans Progress Association secretary Mr T Toby to the Keilor Council blamed disrepair and faulty drainage at the Walmer Avenue and Main Road East junction. Dr Dickson noted prior discussions and defended Shire Engineer Mr Murray Pullar. The engineer reported the dead level prevents surface drainage and proposed an underground drain as a solution, but warned it would be a large job. The matter was left with the Shire Engineer.
