Courage and duty in wartime moral strength and rescue
The piece argues moral courage accompanies physical bravery and that defending liberty is a sacred duty. It recalls 1914 Australian conscripts, 400000 men, who chose to answer Britain’s call, valuing unity, trust in manhood, and resistance to aggression amid global war.
