Yoden Toys Delight San Clemente Kindergartners
World War II veteran and retired contractor Nekritz crafted more than 850 pine toys in 20 designs to gift every kindergartner at San Clemente seven public elementary schools. He delivered 91 toys to Concordia Elementary after arranging donations with principals and Lin Ganahl Lumber. He began in 2005 with The Happy Factory, now funds local efforts and ships hundreds of toys to Camp Pendleton and abroad. He plans to continue as time allows while caring for his wife.
