Base theater reopens after $100k repair effort
Col Mikel Huber initially resisted fixes but authorized patches to reuse the building for another year. Over months walls floors and seats were rebuilt or salvaged, costing just over $100,000. The theater reopened on November 15 showing Maleficent 2 The Joker and Addams Family as the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing Band plans a free Christmas concert December 13 at 7 p.m.
