Area soldier dies in chopper crash in Sinai Peninsula
The Army identified five American soldiers killed when a Black Hawk helicopter crashed near Sharm el-Sheikh during a peacekeeping mission in the Sinai. Names include Capt. Seth Vandekamp, Chief Warrant Officer Dallas Garza, Chief Warrant Officer Marwan Ghabour, Staff Sgt. Kyle McKee, and Sgt. Jeremy Sherman. A French peacekeeper and a Czech officer also died. one American injured. Investigation ongoing.
