Aldermen postpone ward boundary changes after vote
New Bern aldermen delayed the August ward boundary changes to take effect after Tuesday's election. Voters in wards three four and six will use their 1993 polling place now and return to the pre-1991 venue for the next election. The DOJ did not approve the changes in time for Tuesday's polling.
