Nine nonprofits in seven states receive grants of five to ten thousand dollars to aid food access and distribution. The Pollocksville pantry, founded by Pollocksville Presbyterian, provides unmet spiritual nutritional and developmental needs and aided Hurricane Florence survivors. The grant will fund a van to collect food from grocers, drives, events, and the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.
