North Carolina legislature approves 1.6 billion COVID relief
The General Assembly unanimously passed bipartisan measures directing nearly 1.6 billion dollars in federal COVID-19 funds to schools hospitals local governments and researchers. The bills defer many government activities during the outbreak as NC reports over 11 500 confirmed cases and at least 420 related deaths.
