Christopher Floyd aged 44 of Blades Road Havelock North Carolina was charged with disorderly conduct after social media posts claimed he had coronavirus and planned to infect others. Craven County Sheriff's Office released details noting the March 28 arrest and designation of the charge.
City of New Bern shuts City Hall and public facilities through March with all nonemergency matters handled electronically. Many departments cancel events, suspend in person interviews, and limit access. facilities close, programs paused, and services moved online or by phone through March 31 with several events postponed or canceled.
Dr Tunde Sotunde an Anthem Inc executive will become Blue Cross Blue Shield North Carolinas president and CEO effective June 1 replacing Patrick Conway who resigned amid a DUI and child abuse case. Sotunde previously led Medicaid at Anthem and headed Amerigroup Georgia.
