WWII veteran laid to rest with minimal attendance at private ceremony
Margaret Lorenzen, who enlisted in the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps and became among the first women in the regular Army, was buried at Hillcrest Memorial Park in West Palm Beach with only two family members present due to COVID-19 restrictions. An honor guard and taps were provided by the military, and Lorenzen's casket was draped in the American flag.
