Emerald Isle appoints new town manager from Benson
Emerald Isle selects Matthew R. Zapp as new town manager and expects him to begin in mid June after board approval. Zapp, 89 applicants, previously led Benson since 2010 and will replace Frank Rush who left after 17 years. He holds UNC Wilmington and Akron degrees and has coastal management and leadership training.
