Special Agent Richard Broughton cites Oct 20 talks arranging meetings with now convicted dealers at Parker’s New Bern home on Rhein Avenue. Whitted seeks to exclude Parker statements from Oct 28 Havelock interview amid alleged cursing and lying accusations. Parker, arrested on his birthday, posted $100000 bond and moves within the Eastern District. The defense argues evidence could drop if statements are excluded, while prosecutors expect most Southern Surprise defendants to testify for lighter sentences.
