Mardi Gras and Run With Your Heart Weekend Events
Weekend events feature the Run With Your Heart charity race in Jacksonville at Riverwalk Crossing with 5K 10K or 15K options from 9 a.m. to noon and a finish festival plus a virtual option. Packet pickup is March 1 at Staybridge Suites. Also in New Bern the 4th annual Mardi Gras parade and all day celebration on Spencer Avenue begins at 11 a.m. with a 3 p.m. parade. Kinston hosts the Krewe of the Neuse Mardi Gras Yall Crawl starting 7 p.m. with a wristband entry and a nighttime parade.
