Meth bust leads to three arrests in Craven County
A probation search at an Old Cherry Point Road residence yielded three arrests for felony possession of methamphetamine. Craven County Sheriff's Office and NC Department of Probation and Parole executed the operation, charging Bobby Joe Fields 44 Hearne 43 and Jessica Rose Lane 36 with possession.

Craven County lands grant for park water sewer extension
Craven County was selected among 17 North Carolina local governments to receive a 352,500 Rural Infrastructure Authority grant under the Industrial Development Fund Utility Account. The funds will extend water and sewer to the 60 acre Craven County Industrial Park to aid site recruitment and job creation, with broader statewide commitments totaling 5.5 million for 436 jobs and 82 million in private investment.
