Alice Thomason 91 died February 14 2019 at Well Spring surrounded by family in New Bern NC. She was born April 8 1927 in Greensboro daughter of the late William Hugh Womble and Alice Arm strong Womble. She authored the Figure 8 Island Collection cookbook and volunteered at Wesley Long Community Hospital. Survived by children Hugh A Holman Lynne Marc Chesnutt Ann Little and grandchildren. Funeral arrangements handled by Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel. Memorials to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro.
