Walter Jones remembered by friends at service in Farmville
Hundreds gathered at St Peter Catholic Church as U S Rep Walter Jones was honored in a funeral mass and side room viewing with two large screens and 289 chairs filled. Bonnie Allen recalled their childhood and Jones family ties to Bonnie's Cafe while Very Rev Justin Kerber praised his devotion to family and the district and military service. He cared for all in his life and for Christ through helping the least, Kerber said.
