FRCE reports 100 percent Navy audit for WITS inventory system
Fleet Readiness Center East logisticians developed the Wall to Wall Inventory Tracking System to manage asset movements across shops and stages. The WITS system enabled precise tracking of 833 assets in 54 categories, supplying five KSDs, and achieving a flawless external Navy Working Capital Fund Supply Management audit conducted by Ernst and Young. The effort involved FACE, MRO Logistics, COMFAC, NAVSUP, and NAVSYS, highlighting cross‑department teamwork in a busy end-of-year period.
