Pollocksville Veteran James Patrick O'Brien Dies at 69
James Patrick O'Brien of Pollocksville died Sunday at Craven Regional aged 69. A World War II and Korean War Marine, he earned multiple service medals and belonged to several veterans groups. Memorials go to the Retinitis Pigmentosa Foundation in Baltimore. burial and services planned at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. He is survived by three sons, a mother, a brother, eight grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
