Seaton Named Gondolier Pressroom Superintendent
Craig Seaton was appointed pressroom superintendent for the Gondolier Newspaper Group by Ed Faile. He will oversee printing quality control and training for the Coast Gondolier Englewood Times North Port Times Charlotte Sun and Sun Coast Times. Seaton began at the Gondolier as a pressman eighteen months ago after earlier work with the Shopping Guide Bradenton and the Anna Maria Islander. He started in printing as a high school student on the Islander and later worked in web offset printing. He studied in Manatee County and paused his career to play piano with the Greg Allman Band before returning to printing. He is married with a seven month old son and resides in Englewood.

Sarasota Travel Corporation takes ownership of Travel by George at 520 S Venice Bypass and renames the local unit Sarasota Travel-Venice.
