McKee Couple Move to Convert Westview Apartments in Venice
Robert and Mrs. McKee plan converting Westview Apartments on Armada Road into an elderly living facility for residents over 55 with a family style dining area and on site van transportation. They face opposition from city critics including Mrs. Ken Anderson as the project awaits a Board of Zoning Appeals variance. The couple insist the site will function as a small family community rather than a traditional boarding house or nursing home.
