Laurel connector to open in November after delays
The Laurel connector on I 75 is delayed to mid or late November. DOT project head Chuck Kayser cites extra work for a two lane road along old U S 41 as the cause. Jasper Construction trails schedule by more than a week and faces possible time extensions and fines for other I 75 projects. General Asphalt starts paving southbound U S 41 and the connector bridge, with 10 to 15 days of work expected.
