Red tide forces shellfishing ban across three counties
Biologist Beverly Roberts reports red tide spreading from Sarasota and Manatee to Charlotte County. Charlotte County closed to all shellfishing at sunrise Tuesday as testing shows elevated algae levels. no major fish kills yet.
