Capri Isles II gains pace under city DRI rules in Venice
Venice City Council approved a six to one interpretation of the 1974 DRI order guiding Capri Isles II on a 458.8 acre northeast tract. Florida First Service Corp may buy the project by October 15 and density may rise to 2200 units as roads are completed. The plan includes 2200 homes, an 18 hole golf course, tennis, shopping center and a 21 acre school site within a lakes system.
