City consultant Ed Redington says lift stations are set to HUD flood level standards to protect equipment, while former City Engineer Ted Yeatts argues height and location raise health and aesthetics concerns. DER dismissed any regulatory requirement and Yeatts failed to file a timely petition. The Bayshore area lift station near 444 Baycrest Drive aims to commence construction soon with landscaping to mask its presence.
