Drowning leads to trial over unlicensed babysitting service
Lillian Penner of Venice Gardens faces a trial date set for June 4 after being charged with operating an unlicensed child care service in which a child died. The service ran from September 1981 through January 1982 for up to 18 children, violating Sarasota County ordinances.
