Venice approves cost for new Fire Station 2 and paving
Venice officials plan a December start for a new Fire Station 2 at East Venice Avenue with an estimated $395 900 total including Calle Del Torre paving of $25 000. The project adds a rear bay area paving for truck maneuverability and two vehicle exits on Grove Street and Warfield Avenue. Completion is set for September 1983. Police use of the current station will be renovated at a cost over $30 000.
